張泗端，號端石，當代書法家。中共黨員，1953年生，當過知青、工人，戎馬半生。畢業(yè)于解放軍政治學院、首都師范大學中國書法文化研究院研究生課程班。現(xiàn)為國家創(chuàng)新智庫專家委員會藝術(shù)委員會委員，文化中國傳播大使，中國老年書畫研究會書畫交流工作委員會副主任，中國楹聯(lián)學會書法藝術(shù)委員會特聘專家、副主席、書畫藝術(shù)院教授，博鰲亞洲論壇文化中心副理事長，中國服務(wù)貿(mào)易協(xié)會國際交流委員會副秘書長。北京胡潤國際藝術(shù)品鑒定中心特聘書法家。中企報盟特聘書法家，《中國書畫家報》編委。

在書法藝術(shù)上、張泗端秉承恩師歐陽中石“作字行文,文以載道,以書煥采,切時如需”的書學思想,堅持“重傳統(tǒng),隨時代,求自我”的書法學習理念,堅持書法的傳統(tǒng)性和民族性,堅持藝術(shù)為人民、為時代服務(wù)的創(chuàng)作方向,德藝雙修,品行端良。多年來創(chuàng)作書法作品四千多幅,數(shù)十次參加國際國內(nèi)書法展賽、活動,有廣泛的社會影響。曾獲原文化部“建國六十周年文藝創(chuàng)作突出貢獻獎”等多種榮譽和稱號。2019年11月,在民族文化宮舉辦了“翰墨謳歌中國夢，丹青凝鑄民族魂一一中華人民共和國成立70周年張泗端個人書法展"。民族文化宮博物館收藏了其中兩幅作品作為館藏文物。在成年累月的習書過程中,其在與書法文化相關(guān)的儒道釋、中醫(yī)、詩詞等傳統(tǒng)文化上有所用功。擅作楷書、行書、草書、榜書,作品有突出的個人風貌。

張泗端的書法創(chuàng)作實踐,受到藝術(shù)前輩關(guān)注。2009年上海世博會期間,時年90高齡的中國美術(shù)家協(xié)會前顧問王琦先生為其撰文,稱其書法已達“性道一體,道法自然”之境界。2013年以來,歐陽中石、沈鵬、權(quán)希軍、馮遠、言恭達、羅揚等對其書法均有肯定的評價。2020年12月,《中國書畫家報》載文,稱其書法“端莊典雅,氣象正大”,代表了當代書法審美的主流。2021年12月,《新文藝》雜志刊登“蘊櫝既久,聲實自彰一一新文藝群體藝術(shù)家張泗端藝術(shù)人生訪談”,概述了其初心念念,命運多舛的藝術(shù)人生,贊揚了在書法藝術(shù)研習上取得的成就。2022年7月,《人民藝術(shù)家》雜志“春華秋實”欄目,用13個版面介紹了張泗端的書法藝術(shù)成就,編者按稱:張泗端豐富的人生閱歷和扎實的藝術(shù)功力,成就了他”字如其人“的藝術(shù)獨彰。2022年10月,央視頻與張泗端藝術(shù)對話,其表達了摯愛書法藝術(shù),為書法作為國粹的純粹,純潔而努力的心愿。2023年5月，被文化中國主題巡展組委會特別授予＂文化中國傳播大使＂。6月6日，光明日報授予其“光明日報藝術(shù)界領(lǐng)軍人物＂。
